The Floor Care Technician at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), HI, performs cleaning, maintenance and refinishing of flooring throughout the facility. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, stripping, carpet care, moving furniture and monitoring supplies, while following safety and PPE guidelines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of floor tech experience, with good English communication and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Formación

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a floor technician.
• Knowledge of floor types, care products and PPE.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving furniture.

Responsabilidades

• Sweep, mop, strip and refinish hard flooring per SOPs.
• Vacuum and scrub carpeted surfaces as required.
• Move furniture and return items to original places after work.
• Monitor supplies and request cleaning solutions as needed.
• Keep floor machines clean and in good working condition.
• Handle chemicals per guidelines and PPE usage.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
