Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Floor Technician at Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge. This full-time role covers varied shifts (6:00 am–2:30 pm, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, 4:00 pm–12:30 am) and requires prior floor care experience.

You will operate floor care equipment and maintain diverse floor surfaces. The successful candidate will follow safety procedures, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to a clean, safe hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience required.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Must follow safety procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance including stripping and refinishing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large floor areas.
• Carpet and upholstery care: shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Perform restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned.
