Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician for our Bogalusa facility. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with a full-time schedule Monday–Friday and rotating weekends.

Qualified candidates will have prior floor care experience and knowledge of floor care equipment. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
