Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Service Specialty Technician to provide basic and specialized cleaning services across the hospital, focusing on floor care in hard and soft surface areas and duty in specialty units to ensure a safe patient environment.

You will operate heavy equipment for floor maintenance, follow strict safety protocols, and collaborate with hospital staff to maintain cleanliness and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Floor care experience.
• Previous healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing as assigned, performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting, stripping and waxing floor surfaces.
• Performs project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs. Can include tasks such as conference room set up/dismantle according to function sheets and schedules, cleaning of stairwells and elevators, and hanging of cubicle curtains
• Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of specialty units & equipment. Areas include but are not limited to Surgical Services, Labor Delivery, Critical Care, Endoscopy, MRI, Trauma, Cath Lab, NICU, Mental Health and Burn Unit
• Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge
