Job summary

Responsibilities

• Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfection principles and safe chemical/equipment handling.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment; manage waste per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Follow infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, PPE donning/doffing, and isolation precautions.
