Job summary

Arizona Department of Health Services seeks a Division Finance Manager to provide financial expertise and oversight for the Arizona State Hospital. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of budgeting, governmental accounting experience or hospital finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs all financial activity through Accountants, Medical Billers, Bankers and Finance staff.
• Develop strategic financial plans and recommendations for the Hospital executive team.
• Oversee reconciliations of accounts, ledgers, and ad-hoc analyses; identify cost-savings opportunities.
• Monitor revenues, expenditures, budgets, obligations, and contractual activities.
• Ensure compliance with the Arizona State Accounting Manual and GAAP; strengthen internal controls.
