Job summary

Kindred Hospital South Florida – Hollywood is seeking an experienced finance leader to assist in managing the fiscal services department, aligning accounting and auditing with hospital policies. You will help plan budgets, oversee revenue and capital expenses, and ensure accurate financial reporting to reflect assets, liabilities, income, and expenses across operations.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, a CPA is preferred, and at least 3 years of hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ prior management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the fiscal services department and hospital policies on finance, accounting, insurance, and auditing.
• Develop and coordinate departmental budgets, revenue, capital and operating expenses; allocate resources.
• Prepare reports on the hospital’s financial position and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
