Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio, Inc. seeks a Family Room Manager at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s in Cleveland, OH.

You will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, manage family registrations, and ensure an atmosphere of compassionate service in a hospital setting. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with diverse families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 5+ years of related experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, evaluate Family Room volunteers, interns, and associates.
• Maintain family registrations and monthly reports.
• Ensure Family Room operations align with RMHC NEO and hospital policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guest families.
• Maintain stock of supplies and coordinate meals/events as needed.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and RMHC teams on projects.
