Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Banner University Medical Center Tucson. You will perform basic building maintenance, preventive and corrective tasks to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will respond to maintenance requests, document actions, and collaborate with trades and contractors to ensure compliance with hospital standards. A High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; proven reading and understanding of maintenance docs.
• Two+ years as a maintenance technician with related skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities; able to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic building maintenance, preventive and corrective work.
• Respond first line to facility maintenance needs and document actions.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors to meet facility standards.
• Monitor repairs and renovations; ensure compliance with codes and hospital standards.
• Maintain records for regulatory compliance and budgets where applicable.
