Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across hospital facilities and equipment, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC tasks.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime, including weekends and evenings. Experience in healthcare maintenance and familiarity with CMMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years relevant maintenance work experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Certificate in building trade or maintenance technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs for facilities, areas and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain and use hand and power tools for repairs.
• Reference repair manuals or parts catalogs as needed.
• Complete minor electrical and plumbing tasks and HVAC checks.
• Enter and track work in the CMMS system for management review.
• Coordinate repairs with departments and maintain clear communication.
