Garnet Health is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks, ensuring hospital facilities are safe and efficient. The role includes repairing and maintaining equipment, plumbing, and electrical components, while working under the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of high school education, two years of maintenance experience, and a valid NYS Driver’s License. The position provides competitive hourly compensation ranging from $24.82 to $25.54, with additional pay incentives based on acquired skills.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of related experience in mechanical, maintenance, or building trades.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License is required.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure hospital functionality and safety.
• Repair, install, maintain, and test equipment.
• Operate machinery in the Boiler Room and other spaces.
