Job summary

Aultman Health System in Alliance, Ohio is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital buildings and non-clinical equipment. You will work from the Facilities Management team, perform repairs, and support other departments while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Experience with power tools, HVAC systems, electrical work, and general maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least five years in this field or a similar field where the same area of skills were applied.
Knowledge of electrical and HVAC is preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of two years' licensed driving experience to be a driver for hospital-owned vehicles.
Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required.

Responsibilities

Perform building maintenance repairs, renovations and modifications as needed.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment that is owned by the hospital that is not under warranty, contracts, or listed as clinical equipment.
Maintains good communication and professional relations between Facilities Management and all other departments.
All other duties deemed as a necessary function of this position by the Director of Facilities Management.
Responsible for checking e-mails and online learning assignments on a regular basis.
