Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Bastrop is seeking a motivated Plant Operations Manager to oversee hospital safety, environment of care, and life safety. The role includes leading maintenance, housekeeping, and transportation operations.

You will participate on the Safety/Environment of Care and Hazardous Materials committees to ensure compliance and patient safety. The successful candidate will bring a healthcare background, knowledge of Joint Commission standards, and a strong commitment to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the building trades is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, or other healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission standards, Environment of Care requirements, and Life Safety and Regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and transportation departments for each designated Hospital.
• Manage campus maintenance and environmental services operations across the campus.
• Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees from facilities perspective, processes and procedures.
• Participate on the hospital Safety/Environment of Care Committee and Hazardous Materials and Waste Subcommittee.
