Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Director of Plant Operations and Environmental Services in Sugar Land, TX to lead the hospital’s operations, maintenance, environmental services, safety, and security within budget and policy guidelines.

The role requires at least five years of related hospital maintenance experience, understanding of JACHO/NFPA/OSHA regulations, and a preferred CHFM certification. A strong focus on patient safety and facility readiness is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Community electrical maintenance license if required.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification desired.
• Minimum of five years of related experience required.
• Hospital maintenance experience required.
• Must be familiar with JACHO, NFPA, & OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety, and Security within budget and PAM Health policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and maintain the facility and equipment to ensure that all aspects of the environment of Care, Life Safety Code, and interim Life Safety Code are achieved.
