Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to support large hospital campuses. You will operate, maintain, and repair electrical and plumbing systems and movable equipment, resolving issues with minimal supervision while delivering strong customer service.

Education: None; licensure requires a valid driver's license. 4+ years of commercial experience with electrical, plumbing, pneumatic tubes, beds, wheelchairs or stretchers is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: None
• Licensure: Must maintain a valid drivers license
• Experience: 4 or more years commercial experience with electrical, plumbing, pneumatic tube systems, beds, wheelchairs or stretchers
• Requires oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers and follow instructions
• Verbal ability to read and understand technical manuals
• Numerical ability to make calculations for testing, installation, measurement, estimation and repair of equipment
