Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at Toledo Hospital in the Facilities Engineering department. You will perform general maintenance and repairs of the hospital’s facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic equipment, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

This full-time role may require on-call hours as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 1–2 years of related institutional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or trade school diploma or degree from technicalschool.
• Must have working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and airconditioning codes.
• 1-2 years previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of the hospital’s facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic equipment.
• Monitor and inspect work to ensure code and regulation compliance.
• On Call hours may be required on an as needed basis.
