Dignity Health—Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC) is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to support hospital operations across the Prescott campus. The role emphasizes carpentry, painting, and repairs to keep patient care areas safe and functional.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, assist skilled trades, and collaborate with team members to ensure reliable facilities and equipment throughout the hospital complex.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in one or more trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality workmanship and proper use of materials.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform plumbing tasks including installation and repair of equipment.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance per work orders.
• Construct, repair, and maintain hospital furniture, partitions, doors, windows, floors, and framework; use power tools safely.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and apply interior/exterior paints using scaffolds or ladders.
