Job summary

NCH Healthcare System Inc in Naples, FL is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Mechanic to ensure safe, efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, and building systems across our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with clinical teams to maintain patient care environments.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety compliance, with shift work including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School or GED required.
• HVAC program graduate with 3 years building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, boilers, pumps in patient care areas, ORs, and labs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Repair electrical circuits, lighting, appliances, and plumbing as needed.
• Inspect and maintain emergency generators, alarms, and backup systems for safety compliance.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
