Job summary

United Health Services is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and groundskeeping tasks at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. The role involves day shifts and 40 hours per week, with compensation ranging from $21.80 to $32.60 per hour based on experience.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years in operational maintenance/engineering; trade school graduates and hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years’ experience in operational maintenance/engineering.
• Graduation from a Trade School (preferred).
• 4 years in operational maintenance/engineering with 2 hospital years (preferred).
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and groundskeeping duties.
• Support maintenance operations across hospital facilities.
• Interact with staff and patients as required within the facility.
