Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking a General Maintenance II to support the Engineering Team. The role is a 1st shift position (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) with 40 hours per week and benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance across building systems, scheduling and completing work orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across hospital facilities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Three years' verifiable experience in mechanics, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose problems and execute resolution.
• Valid state driver's license and DOT licensure.
• Must adhere to department policies, procedures, and competencies as well as all Health System policies.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and install faucet, toilet, sink, and shower outlets.
• Maintain HVAC equipment, air handling units, ductwork, and related systems.
• Inspect electrical systems; document results for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting organizations and CMS/OSHA requirements.
