Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a versatile facility maintenance technician responsible for performing repairs across plant, general maintenance, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and hospital equipment upkeep.

You will handle preventive and corrective work orders, participate in QA, and contribute to ongoing facility improvements, ensuring safety and reliability of all building systems within the hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Stationary Engineer training.
• 200 hours of formal schooling in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
• Preferred 3 years of facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance requests as assigned throughout the facility including preventive, corrective, emergency, and project types of work orders.
• Performs various special projects and physical plant improvements.
• Performs work on all scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Participates in the department QA process.
