Vanguard Resources, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager – Hospital Environment to lead the day-to-day maintenance and plant operations at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.

You'll oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; prioritize preventive and emergency maintenance; coach a technical team; and partner with leadership to align staffing and safety with hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or building systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and maintenance problems.
• Preventive maintenance and work-order experience.
• Some supervisory or team-lead experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support the daily work of the facilities maintenance team.
• Prioritize preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot building and equipment issues and drive practical solutions.
• Support the reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, emergency power, and related building systems.
• Monitor work orders, preventive maintenance completion, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate day-to-day work with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Develop and coach employees, assign work, and ensure safety, quality, and follow-through.
• Partner with the Director of Facilities & Plant Operations on staffing and priorities.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset and support hospital operations professionally.
