Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician - Level III (Electrician) for Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX.

The role focuses on maintaining electrical systems across hospital facilities and responding quickly to service requests. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with hospital staff, vendors, and the facilities team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of commercial electrical or skilled facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, meters, and hand/power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and codes.
• Ability to diagnose issues and determine repairs or escalation.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; communicate with staff/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service electrical systems hospital-wide.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on distribution systems, lighting, panels, motors, and controls.
• Respond to service requests, diagnose failures, and complete safe repairs.
• Read schematics/blueprints and coordinate with hospital staff and vendors.
