Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an experienced Engineering leader to manage the South Campus Engineering team. This full-time position oversees daily operations, ensures compliance, and guides maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment to keep patient care uninterrupted.

The role requires strong organizational skills, 2–4 years in maintenance management, and knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in a maintenance management position, hospital experience preferred.
• Licensing in one building trade preferred.
• Strong understanding of building systems and boiler plants.
• Ability to organize work and direct a wide range of personnel.
• Experience with physical environment, life safety and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of the South Campus Engineering team to ensure quality of services.
• Maintain campus operations within fiscal and productivity guidelines.
• Direct South Campus Engineering personnel to achieve department goals.
• Develop and administer programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
• Administer preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted service and safe working conditions.
