Job summary

State of Maryland seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Deer’s Head Hospital Center, responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising all physical plant maintenance to support the hospital’s mission.

The role requires five years in building maintenance or related trades, with four years in supervising others, and may accept military experience in lieu of the required experience. MD driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the building maintenance or building construction trades including four years of experience assigning, reviewing and approving the work of other building maintenance or building construction workers.
• Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and supervise the work of the Maintenance Department to support the hospital’s mission.
• Oversee all physical plant maintenance activities at Deer’s Head Hospital Center.
