Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR is seeking an Executive Chef to lead hands-on food preparation, cooking and service for patients, cafeteria, doctors' dining room and catering events. You will supervise a production team, ensure safe, therapeutic and innovative meals, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining POS and MS Office workflows.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Culinary Associate degree or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in food operation; supervisory experience preferred.
• Membership of the American Culinary Federation as a certified Executive Chef preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification within 6 months and ongoing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on preparation, cooking and serving of all foods for patients, cafeteria and catering events.
• Lead the production team to ensure safe, therapeutic and innovative meals.
• Oversee staff including chefs, cooks and cafeteria workers; manage ordering and vendor relations.
