St. Francis–Emory Healthcare in Columbus, GA, part of the ScionHealth network, seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. You will perform cleaning tasks, move furniture and supplies, and support infection control through proper sanitation and waste handling. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality service to patients and staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Competenze

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to read and understand English to follow cleaning instructions.
• Experience in acute care setting is preferred.

Mansioni

• Select cleaning materials and prepare cleaning solutions, load cart.
• Clean assigned areas with germicidal cleaning solutions.
• Sweep, mop floors and vacuum; spot-clean carpet.
• Clean restrooms and replenish essentials.
• Collect and dispose of trash; sanitize cans.
• May collect hazardous waste for sterilization before disposal.
• Arrange furniture for meetings and events.
• Return unused supplies to janitor closet.
