Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of the Valley Health System and Universal Health Services family, seeks a hospital housekeeping professional to maintain clean patient rooms and common areas. You will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste removal, and surface cleaning in a busy hospital setting.

HS diploma preferred; 1 year cleaning experience preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth within VHS and UHS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One-year general cleaning experience is preferred.
• Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area experience is preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Candidate must be able to perform the duties of the Attendant I Classification.

Responsibilities

• This position consists of cleaning offices, patient rooms and related areas where general housekeeping functions are performed including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, removal of biohazardous and regular waste, cleaning all surfaces.
