Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain clean offices, patient rooms and related areas, supporting a busy healthcare environment with emphasis on infection control.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and one year of general cleaning experience is desirable; floor care or specialized cleaning experience is a plus. Comprehensive education and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One-year general cleaning experience preferred.
• Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, patient rooms and related areas per standard procedures.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and remove waste including biohazardous and regular waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety to support patient care standards.
