Job summary

The Valley Health System's Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated housekeeping attendant to maintain clean, safe patient areas and offices. You will dust, vacuum, mop, remove waste, and sanitize surfaces while following infection control and safety guidelines to support high-quality patient care.

This role supports a busy hospital environment with a maternity department, NICU, and cardiovascular services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One-year general cleaning experience preferred. Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Attendant I classification may be required.

Responsibilities

• This position consists of cleaning offices, patient rooms and related areas where general housekeeping functions are performed including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, removal of biohazardous and regular waste, cleaning all surfaces.
