Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping Experience Preferred.
• Previous experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses proper chemicals and dilution ratios and the appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Follows daily cleaning schedules and safety procedures for all areas.
• Understands and follows infection waste and sharps disposal procedures.
• Attends department in-services and meetings.
• Responds to pages within 5 minutes.
• Cleans rooms from top to bottom, including hard floors and carpets.
• Maintains courteous relations with patients, families and staff.
