Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Housekeeper to uphold cleanliness across hospital departments. You will sanitize rooms, hallways, and shared areas, maintaining infection control standards and prioritizing patient comfort.

Reporting to the Director of Environment Services, you will work with hospital staff to ensure neatness, proper storage, and safe waste handling while delivering courteous service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English to perform essential job functions.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures in all assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of equipment, care and storage areas.
• Maintain courteous and considerate relations with medical staff, administrative staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.
• Complete special projects throughout the hospital as assigned.
