Aufgaben

• Uses approved equipment such as an automatic floor machine, burnisher and extractor to clean floors/carpets.
• Removes and labels hospital waste into appropriate receptacles including bio/hazardous waste and chemo waste.
• Assists with conference room set-ups and moves furniture/boxes as needed.
• Sweeps and damp mops stairways, vacuums elevators, and maintains floors.
• Disinfects patient rooms and core areas using proper chemicals and PPE.
• Follows safety training and hospital exposure control plans.
• Maintains work area and equipment per department standards.
• Reports obstacles to EVS leadership to meet goals.
