Qualifications

• Must read, understand and communicate effectively.
• One year of knowledge in acute care hospital environmental service techniques preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms and common areas.
• Properly dispose of medical and hazardous waste per protocols.
• Restock gloves, masks and cleaning supplies in hospital areas.
• Clean and maintain floors, restrooms and surfaces with specialized equipment.
• Respond to spills or contamination and communicate promptly.
• Travel between facilities as needed to maintain cleanliness.
