Job summary

Select Medical in Dallas is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS)/Housekeeping to support per diem/PRN coverage. You will maintain a clean, safe environment in patient rooms, offices, and public areas, upholding infection control standards and delivering compassionate service to patients and staff.

Minimum qualifications include prior housekeeping experience; a High School degree or equivalent preferred, and prior hospital EVS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, lounges, halls and public spaces.
• Ensure sanitation, order and appearance of the hospital.
• Perform light manual cleaning tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
• Clean furnishings, floors and equipment using approved cleaners and disinfectants.
• Dust surfaces, empty trash, and arrange furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Make beds with clean linen and replenish soap, towels and other supplies.
