Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Supervisor at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, MS. You will assist in supervising the hospital Environmental Services Department, enforce standards, and train staff under the Department Director.

Requires 1+ year in janitorial/housekeeping, high school diploma or GED, and post-offer medical/background/drug screening. Proficient with Windows office; strong service attitude and ability to manage time and people are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the janitorial/housekeeping industry required.
• Medical cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all in‑services for Environmental Services Department
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conducts quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory as well as general use of equipment.
• Ensure that staff receives proper initial training in assigned areas and tasks
• Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff to enable each one to perform to his/her fullest potential.
• Maintain an environment that is in sanitary, attractive and orderly condition.
• Demonstrate and promote Xanitos culture, values, and management philosophy.
