Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead a small EVS team, ensuring high cleanliness standards and patient safety in our Tupelo facility.

Responsibilities include directing daily activities, training and mentoring staff, coordinating schedules, managing supplies and inventory, and supporting LTC policies. The role is on-site with shift-based duties and collaboration with the LTC Administrator.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small EVS teams and coordinating cleaning tasks.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and conduct coaching as needed.
• Experience in scheduling and resource planning.
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of a small EVS team to perform assigned cleaning tasks.
• Direct collection and removal of trash and bio-hazard waste in the facility.
• Provide training and mentorship to new EVS staff.
• Prepare and manage monthly schedules ensuring appropriate staffing.
• Evaluate cleaning supplies and equipment and advise LTC Administrator.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies weekly to ensure availability.
