Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong manual skills.
• Ability to communicate using multiple methods (pagers, speakers, phones, etc).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, discharge rooms, common areas, and hospital spaces.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE (mask, gloves, other items).
• Handle potential contact with infectious diseases and medical waste with proper PPE.
• Disinfect and dust designated areas, replenish supplies, remove trash, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Assist in creating a safe, clean hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
