Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a leader to provide daily oversight for the Dietary and EVS Departments within a hospital setting. You will coach staff to maintain clean, sanitary, and safe environments and ensure nutritional needs are met for patients, staff, and guests.

You will also assist leadership with imaging metric reviews for performance improvement. Responsibilities include supervising staff, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience managing environmental services and/or dietary operations.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, HR management, and regulatory requirements. Green Belt training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, disciplines, and evaluates work performance of EVS and dietary staff.
• Supervises off-shift team leaders and develops training programs.
• Assesses budgeting issues and expense reduction; ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards.
