You will monitor laundry machines, use approved chemicals, and maintain equipment per policy while supporting infection prevention practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices and corridors in a sanitary manner.
• Operate and monitor laundering machines to clean linens and other items.
• Utilize chemicals and supplies according to procedure and maintain equipment.
• Assist visitors and patients, introduce self, and provide directions when needed.
• Report safety hazards and follow infection prevention practices.
