Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team in Bellflower, CA. The EVS Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining patient rooms, public areas, and other spaces with high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

This full-time position runs 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday with holidays and every other weekend. Duties include cleaning, disinfection, floor care, linen/trash removal, inventory, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Healthcare environment experience is a plus, but not required.
• Skills: Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently; strong attention to detail and time management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & disinfection: Routine cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas.
• Floor care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Trash & linen removal: Empty trash, replace liners, transport waste; collect soiled linens for laundry.
• Inventory maintenance: Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Safety & sanitation: Follow PPE protocols and ensure equipment is maintained properly.
• Patient interaction: Provide friendly service while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
• Quality control: Report cleanliness or safety concerns to EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies and infection prevention protocols.
