Job summary

Harbor Oaks Hospital in New Baltimore, MI seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to join our EVS team. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a daytime schedule with some weekend work.

The pay range is $16.50–$18.76 per hour, based on experience, with full-time hours and a 10:30am–7pm shift. Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), prior healthcare housekeeping experience, CPR and de-escalation/ restraint training (provided during employment), and potential first aid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and custodial tasks for general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility.
• Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies using appropriate processes and germicides.
• Move and arrange furniture, clean kitchens and utensils, sweep, wax, or polish floors as needed.
• Launder soiled linens as directed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and properly store equipment after shifts.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
• Stock supplies as needed and follow infection control measures.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
