Job summary

Keswick seeks a full-time Housekeeper EVS in Baltimore to maintain a clean, safe environment in healthcare or institutional settings, performing thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms and common areas.

The role requires lifting and standing for long periods, attention to infection control, and the ability to follow written and verbal cleaning protocols. Compensation is $17–$17.50 per hour, based on experience, with Monday–Friday 7 am–3 pm and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or environmental services in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, operating rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and other facility spaces according to established protocols.
• Manage waste disposal, including safe handling and removal of biohazardous materials per health regulations.
• Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors promptly.
• Follow infection control procedures, including PPE and cleaning checklists.
