Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of knowledge in acute care hospital environmental service techniques and procedures.
• Preferred two years of Floor Tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of the floors on the assigned facility in a neat and sanitary manner.
• Mops, sweeps, scrubs, and strips floor; applies floor sealers and finishes.
• Full vacuuming in traffic areas and visible debris on carpets.
• Spot clean carpets as needed with extraction and bonneting methods.
• Maintain hard floors with no buildup in corners and dust mop.
