Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is seeking a Housekeeper/EVS to perform hospital cleaning duties across patient and non-patient areas. The role requires following schedules, proper waste handling, and delivering a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include floor care, infection control procedures, quick response to pages, and maintaining professional interactions with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ø Previous Housekeeping Experience Preferred.
• Ø Previous experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs hospital cleaning duties in patient and non-patient areas.
• Transports and secures trash, biohazardous waste, and soiled linen.
• Operates equipment for hard surface and carpet floor care.
• Follows daily cleaning schedules and prioritizes tasks.
• Adheres to infections waste procedures for trash and linens.
• Responds to overhead and beeper pages within 5 minutes.
• Cleans rooms top to bottom and maintains a clean environment.
• Maintains courteous relations with patients, families and staff.
