The role involves floor care, carpet cleaning, waste removal, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across patient areas and public spaces. Responsibilities include floor stripping and refinishing, gentle handling of supplies, and keeping accurate records of activities and schedules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of floor care equipment.
• Ability to read in English to follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Must have good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• S sanitizes all surfaces of the facility using a germicidal cleaner.
• Performs dust mop and mopping all tile floors. Performs burnishing of floors.
• Performs carpet cleaning and vacuuming.
• Strips and refinishes floors.
• Removes infectious and non‑infectious waste.
• Performs project cleaning in designated areas.
• Cleans walls, doors, and baseboards, picks up trash and delivers linen/laundry.
• Maintains accurate records including discharges, pager sign‑out sheets, cart sign‑out sheets, and Kronos corrections.
• Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
