Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an Equipment Technician in New Orleans, LA to clean and disinfect medical equipment and manage department par levels. You will read inventory sheets, monitor stock, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include responding to hospital staff inquiries, following daily schedules, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while wearing proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Ability to read inventory forms
• English reading, writing and speaking ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, with safe handling
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for long periods during shifts
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants
• Read par sheets and monitor inventory levels
• Follow hospital policies and infection control processes and safety rules
