Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an Equipment Technician to clean and disinfect medical equipment and maintain department par levels in a hospital setting.

The role requires safe work practices, ability to read par sheets, and adherence to infection control policies while supporting daily equipment circulation and stock management.

You'll work as part of a team, perform routine tasks, and respond to incident reports, with emphasis on safety and reliability of equipment for patient care.

Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Walk and or stand for long periods of time
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
• Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant
• Able to read par sheets and inventory levels
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
