Hospital Equipment Technician and Installer
Alliance Medical Corp. is a Wisconsin based, fast growing, established dynamic provider of surgical equipment and services. We currently have an opportunity in the State of Wisconsin for a technician to support the installation and repair of surgical operating room lighting, tables, utility booms, video routing, Sterile Processing Department equipment (sterilizers, washers, ultrasonic cleaners) and other healthcare equipment inclusive of hospital beds, stretchers, etc. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning service team and enter the unique world of hospital medical equipment installation and servicing.

This position offers a solid opportunity with a strong support team and a place to learn and grow. All technicians at Alliance Medical Corp are responsible for working closely with peers, managers, customers and support departments to achieve individual, team and company goals. All technicians are also responsible for building strong relationships at many levels in the hospital organization, for increasing brand awareness, and for providing superior customer service.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
·Based in WI (Ideally Madison or Milwaukee metro areas), with statewide coverage required (occasional overnight travel and very occasional weekend work)
·Complete training programs provided to allow you to quickly gain expertise in product design, technical specifications, and clinical applications (Hands-on local training and formal courses in Grand Rapids, MI)
·Full time M-F with early am and some evening work (Typical hours 730am-430pm)
·Work closely with Alliance Medical Senior Skytron Representatives, Service Manager, and Sales Support
·Respond to service calls, diagnose issues in equipment and conduct repairs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime for customers
·Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
·Determine parts, supplies and tools needed to complete service repairs
·Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions to ensure effective communication and follow-up.
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s Degree preferred
·Some Mechanical aptitude is required
·Hospital biomed or maintenance experience preferred but not required
·Must meet and complete requirements for hospital vendor credentialing programs (Background checks, immunizations, history)
·Ability to work independently and with a team
·Must be able to physically handle equipment and parts that may weigh up to 80 pounds
·Must be flexible (Service on hospital equipment is scheduled as it is available and reactive service is scheduled promptly as needed)
Compensation:
·Beginning salary range of $55K to $65K (based on experience)

A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel during working hours. All tools and equipment required will be provided by Alliance Medical.
