Truman Medical Centers UH Lakewood in Kansas City seeks a part-time PRN Environmental Services Technician to help keep patient areas clean and safe. You will operate cleaning equipment and move supplies as needed, following infection control and safety procedures. Strong English communication and physical stamina are required.

Training includes a competency assessment within 30–60 days of hire; 4 hours per week schedule; healthcare environment experience is a plus but not required.

Formación

• Clear communication in English, with patients, staff and visitors.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Familiar with cleaning and floor care equipment.
• Willing to complete competency assessment after training.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and service hospital areas to keep them in top condition.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies as needed for events.
• Maintain cleanliness following infection control standards and safety.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understand chemical labels and safe usage of cleaning supplies.
